It is with great sadness, Barton AC announce the passing of Barbara Johnson, the wife of our late boxing coach Roy Johnson.

Barbara passed away at home on the 2nd August, aged 83 years.

A devoted and valued member of our Barton AC family, Barbara gave 30 years voluntary service helping with our banking, bookkeeping, balance sheet recording and maintaining our membership system, with a service to the community second to none.

The funeral service will take place on Tuesday 14th August 2018 at Christ Church, Liverpool Road/Nelson Street, Patricroft at 1.45PM, followed by committal at Peel Green Crematorium and a celebration of her life at Patricroft Conservative Club.
